Organic wine is made from grapes grown in accordance with principals of organic farming, which typically excludes the use of artificial chemical fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides and herbicides. With our Pelee Pure Red, the grapes are fermented in special bins. This is an all-natural process with no yeast added. After fermentation, the grapes get pressed in a separate press. The wine is then stored in separate barrels for 3 months for ageing.
Ruby red colour. Perfectly ripened fruit on the nose, light currant jam and spice on the palate. Succulent summer berry pie with velvety tannins. Medium dry finish.
Pair with: Vegan dishes, roasted lamb or cheeses.
